With an emphasis on the finest quality local ingredients highlighted by our renowned award-winning pies and acclaimed Sunday Roast—ranked 8th best in the UK by Good Roast Guides in 2022 - we are bringing a new lease of life to the food menu at the wonderful Gorilla in Manchester.

You can expect all of your old favourites from our Stockport site plus some incredible new dishes that have given our chefs a new field to play on and kick on with our aim of serving up the very best comforting, fresh and flavour driven food around!

  • Yes, we do! Any booking over a 6 is treated as a request, contact us on hello@blackbirdbrewhouse.co.uk to book your party!

  • We have a full allergen matrix that we can email over to you, please email hello@blackbirdbrewhouse.com to discuss your allergens and dietary requirements. The presence of most of the 14 recognised allergens are present in our kitchen and we cannot guarantee any dish to be completely free of allergens.

  • All dishes that are made gluten free are marked with GF on the menu.

    However, we cannot guarantee an absence of traces of gluten as we use so many bread products and make and bake all our own pies using lots of flour in the process, we would not want to make anybody ill if you have severe intolerances to gluten.

  • Children are welcome until 7:30pm latest. We have 2 high chairs on offer please do state that you need one when booking.

    Due to our limited space we ask that all prams/buggies are folded away unless your child is a newborn-6 months old.
